WHO: Buffalo AmeriCorps & Habitat for Humanity Buffalo MLK Day of Service Project
WHAT: In celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King’s National Day of Service. More than 25
volunteers will serve to help clear a house donated to Habitat for Humanity Buffalo
of the previous owners belongings.

NOTES:Buffalo AmeriCorps from The Belle Center will join Habitat for Humanity Buffalo in a discard and recycle service project in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy. More than 25 volunteers will serve to help clear a house donated to Habitat for Humanity Buffalo of the previous owners belongings.
The MLK Day of Service provides the local community and nation an opportunity to unite and engage in direct service to address some of the economic and social challenges that impact us all. MLK Day of Service projects address issues such as hunger, education, promotion of nonviolence, homelessness, poverty and more. The federal agency, Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) leads the annual MLK Day of Service as it works with the King Center in Atlanta and thousands of nonprofit groups, faith-based organizations, schools and businesses nationwide.
