Buffalo AmeriCorps Provides A Safe Place To Play For Children At Marine Drive

Buffalo, New York – August 2, 2010 –Children at Marine Drive will have a safer place to play thanks to the help of Buffalo AmeriCorps members in preparation for Marine Drive’s National Night Out 2010-America’s National Night Out Against Crime.

This major project will take place 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 2nd, and Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010 at Marine Drive Buffalo, NY 14202.

10 Buffalo AmeriCorps members will perform a pre-National Night Out 2010 service project that includes: on the first day, the removal of all current stone mulch in a Marine Drive playground area and installation of 60 yards of safe rubber mulch will be laid with areas of the playground being repainted.
